Ordinary? Expected? Not Uncommon.
A blank canvas? A black and white sketch? That might be the world’s idea of another workspace, but it’s not Quarterback’s. Designing in bold colour is all the more critical when the client isn’t just any flexible office provider. Once the headquarters of London Underground, this tired 1950s relic in Holborn is now the headquarters of the extraordinary. QBRE didn't just design a space; they shaped a destination that rejects the status quo. Flexibility is the baseline, and sustainability isn’t an afterthought but an instinct. Countertops forged from 100% recycled materials, crockery crafted by hand from reclaimed clay, and Framery pods born of recycled glass, steel, and PET. Every design choice added colour and texture to a vision in motion. Uncommon Holborn isn’t just a building, it’s a declaration. A space where history meets ambition, where heritage embraces the horizon. Because when vision meets execution, extraordinary happens. That’s QBRE.
